Joan Smith-Stevens

Joan is the CEO of Highest Expectations. She began her career in the Montgomery County Ohio division of Developmental Disabilities Services and eventually moved on to Warren County. Joan has experience in fields including, but not limited to, residential care, job coaching and developing, and management. After experiencing several different sides of the field, Joan had a dream of starting a company of her own. A company in which she could not only help individuals in need, but could create the sense of family she felt was so important in the lives of everyone. In 2004, Joan and her husband Ralph (Red) made that dream a reality. Caring for individuals with special needs has been Joan's career choice for 25+ years.
